Add Comment T-Shirt design contest! 02/12/2012
Here's my first attempt at a t-shirt design! Only reason I made it was because of this contest, and I thought maybe I had a shot since the challenge is making a cute monster.. so yea, just maybe! So, if you wanna head over to deviantart and check out my design and maybe browse through the others as well and vote (for me) that would be awesome! :) Princess Mononoke 02/10/2012
Here's my first attempt at fan art through the bloodsports challenge over at Crimson Daggers. Princess Mononoke is copyrighted studio Ghibli. Hope you like it :) Portraits 02/08/2012
Done some freelance lately, and keeping busy with two big projects on the side of that, which is mainly why my portfolio has been put on a hold. School starts soon, and that means I will start posting regularly again. Good to take a break once in a while! New portfolio illustration. 12/10/2011
This time I wanted to follow up on some of the major critiques I got on my last one. Mainly to have more movement and more interesting storytelling. I will do a touch up on all the illustrations I make once the portfolio is done, so all critiques are welcomed with thanks. Bought a book! 11/30/2011
Yesterday I bought a book. It's now in the mail and will soon join my collection of 3 books. Pretty soon I'll have a library. It's a book written by Bobby Chiu and it's called "The Perfect Bait". I recommend any artist that is taking their art seriously, and want's to make a career for themselves, to buy it. It's cheap, and so full of priceless advice and experience. Thank you Bobby, for this wonderful book! (I know what's inside, because I listened to the audio tracks available online once you buy it). Also, here are a couple of speed paints and a study from the last days. Some stuff over the last days 11/25/2011

Calling it done for now, I will revisit it when the others are done, and touch up on mistakes with fresh eyes :) Update on first portfolio illustration 11/19/2011
Had some great feedback today, and decided to change the whole scenery. I'm liking this approach a lot more, and I think I got the values and colors pretty much done. Just need to render the hell out of it now. So next time you'll probably see it done :) Posted the old one, so you can see the difference. Todays studies 11/17/2011
A rock, and my girlfriend :) Don't know exactly how long they each took.. I estimate around 3 hours in total for both. |
